SPECIAL EVENTS FOR AUSTIN LYRIC OPERA’S
CARMEN

Friday, April 18 – Carmen Opening Night Dinner $125 per person – Join us for tapas, gazapacho, fabulous entrée and dessert at the sit down dinner under the tent before the Opera Carmen. The party begins at 5:30 p.m. with wine and champagne. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and you will be inside the Long Center in time for the opera performance beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Friday, April 18 – Carmen Opening Night After Party $35 per person – Back to the tent for more fun – dancing to Betos and the Fairlanes, drinking Spanish wines & champagne, and dining on a lite fare of Spanish cheeses, fruits and desserts. We will begin promptly after the Opera and go until 1 a.m. Package (reduced) price for attending both the Opening Night Dinner and Opening Night After Party -- $150 per person.

Sunday, April 20 – Carmen Sunday Brunch and Opera Highlights with ALO Director Kevin Patterson $35 per person – Join us at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday for a mimosa, lite brunch/desserts, coffee and Austin Lyric Opera Highlights with our new General Director Kevin Patterson. We will dine in the tent just outside the Long Center. You will have a wonderful opportunity to just sit, relax, and visit with friends before entering the Long Center for the Opera lecture on Carmen with our very own Margaret Perry at 2 p.m.

Thursday, April 24 – Carmen Champagne and Wine Reception $35 per person – For the person on the go, we are offering a lite plated fare with wine and champagne in the brand new Long Center - Kodosky Lounge with breathtaking views of the city. We will open the lounge at 6 p.m. No worries about food lines just come when you can. Enjoy the view, de-stress from your day and prepare yourself to enjoy a fabulous opera performance that begins at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 26 – Carmen After-Party with the Cast $50 per person – Come meet the Cast as we say bravo and farewell to Carmen. We will enjoy the stunning evening views of our incredible city in the Long Center – Kodosky Lounge. A dinner buffet with wine and champagne will be provided. This event is limited in the number we can accept, so make sure you make your reservations now for an amazing after party that will begin immediately after the close of Carmen and last until 1 a.m.
