Chorus

The Austin Lyric Opera Chorus is a professional ensemble drawn from a pool of talented Central Texas vocalists. The ensemble, whose members are selected based on annual auditions, features a diverse sampling of people from throughout Austin and its surrounding area.

The chorus is a spirited group and it continues to be one of the most prominent artistic elements of the company since its inception. Whether a score calls for the precision of a chorus of twelve or the power of one hundred and twenty voices, the ALO Chorus provides a solid musical foundation for each production.
