Personal Giving

Your gift to the Austin Lyric Opera

Behind every thrilling performance are generous donors like you who make these experiences possible. The outstanding opera productions we all enjoy depend on your support and Central Texans are proud to support the arts.

Becoming a donor has other benefits. Make a donation and you’ll find yourself behind-the-scenes: priority service, social events, and private gatherings with the artists are just a few of the donor benefits you may enjoy. Most importantly, your gift — no matter how large or small — goes directly toward the artistic and education programs that make the Austin Lyric Opera the invaluable cultural treasure it is today.

Thank you for your generosity! Your investment will enable us to continue to produce momentous opera and offer educational programming for this and the next generation! Contact us with any questions you might have. Call Angie Bonnici, Director of Individual Giving, at (512) 610-7668 for more details.

Planned gifts support the Austin Lyric Opera’s Endowment Fund and provide the resources that create our extraordinary musical experiences and ensure the ALO’s stability and future as a vital cultural institution.

Your planned gift entitles you to Bravo Society membership and, with your permission, you will be acknowledged in the Opera’s performance program. You can become a member by making a gift or commitment in one of the following ways:

    • Gifts of Cash, Appreciated Securities or Real Estate
    • Bequest By Will
    • Life Income Plans
    • Life Insurance

Often planned gifts provide financial benefits to you and your heirs too.

    • Pass assets that might otherwise go to the government to an organization and cause in which you believe.
    • Decrease your estate tax burden, ultimately increasing the amounts received by your heirs.
    • Increase your income and avoid capital gains tax while making a more generous gift than you might ever imagined possible.

Let us help you choose the approach that works best for you. Please contact us to start the giving process. Call Angie Bonnici at (512) 610-7668 for more details.
